The festival Las Parrandas de Remedios was originally created to get people to attend church towards the end of the year. Las Parrandas de Remedios is full of many culturally activities. They have many highly decorated floats, dancers, and many fireworks. Usually the citizens face off on who has the better float, dance, and decorations.The festival usually starts off by people going to church and then having parties at home. The cuban government has a issued a rule saying that the house parties can only stay up partying till four in the morning.
